Imagine a 20-something version of a desperate Teri Hatcher with a mix of empty-headed Wendie Malick and devil may care Kim Cattrall, and there appears something like Cherish Hamutoff.  She's a funny California gal who's a Gen-X Nerd; sensual & innocent; ditzy & witty; wry & perky; & sarcastic but genuine, "the freshness of a Dharma with the slight edge of a Janeane Garofalo."  She thrives on this duality; it's what prompts everyone she meets to comment, "You remind me of someone, but you're unlike anyone I've ever met."

Cherish was born and raised in Orange County, graduated with Honors from the University of CA, Irvine, and immediately picked up her first paying acting job at the comical murder mystery dinner theater, "
The Gourmet Detective."  At the audition, she fit all three female roles so well they cast her as all three, to perform on alternating nights.  She stayed with the company for 2 years and 200 performances, then moved to Los Angeles in Sept '01.

Cherish landed her first Agent and booked the first job she was sent on; a voiceover for The History Channel's "
The Color of War."  She took classes at Playhouse West with Robert Carnegie, The Groundlings, and various workshops where she was spotted by another Agent who stole her away.  This Agent helped her land her first Commercial & Print job.

Cherish forged ahead, landing roles in Independent films and TV shows while also working as a model - she was featured in
LA Confidential Magazine Spring 2005 & Angelino Magazine Fall 2006 as a Bikini Model for Eres.  In film, she was recognized as a leading actress "top pick" from the DVDX Academy for the Dec 13, 2005 release of "Bloodline" by Lion's Gate Home Entertainment.

June 2005 she landed her first National Commercial and joined forces with a Coast to Coast Agent who helped her book her first SAG commercial Nov 05.  She regularly shoots commercials, films, works as a leg model, and performs with an interactive show.

November 2006 Cherish signed with
Studio Talent Group, and also became a member of SAG!  2007 brought about San Diego & Orange County representation, Artist Management Agency, Equity shows: "Don't Dress for Dinner" with the Norris Theater and "No Strings" starring Scott Bakula with Reprise! Broadway's Best, and her first SAG feature, "The Last Hurrah"!

In her spare time, Cherish loves to garden, read, run, do Sunday brunch and collect Fortune Cookie Fortunes.  Please view CURRENT to see what else she's doing!
